Service Description

This is a slow, mindful movement class designed to help you release chronic tension, improve mobility, and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm. Using small, intentional movements and breath awareness, you’ll learn how to interrupt old holding patterns and re-educate your nervous system—so your body can move with more ease, balance, and coordination. Perfect for anyone experiencing persistent aches, postural strain, stress-related tightness, or simply wanting to move in a way that feels kind and restorative. No experience needed. Just bring your body, your breath, and a willingness to listen. We’ve seen Somatic Yoga help with: ✔️ Chronic tension in shoulders, back, or hips ✔️ Emotional overwhelm or burnout ✔️ Sleep issues and anxiety ✔️ Feeling disconnected or stuck in your body With over 35 years of experience in teaching movement, Jo Davidson brings a rare depth of knowledge, warmth, and intuition to her classes. Her work centres on helping people unravel deeply held tension, rediscover natural movement, and rebuild trust and confidence in their bodies. She also trained as a Laughter Yogi during lockdown, bringing a sense of joy, humour, and lightness to her sessions. Clients often describe her classes as uplifting, safe, and deeply grounding. Jo is part of the ENERGYBODi team and teaches weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
