Service Description

Core & C.A.R.S. is our new class to unlock usable mobility through controlled rotational movements and gain resilience and mobility for safer, more efficient movement. This is not a beginner class but one for those ready to move beyond flexibility into functional, usable mobility. You will need to have attended at least two of our CORE X sessions plus a Prehap Lower body (ankles knees and hips session) or a Prehab Upper Body ( Shoulders, neck, upper back, wrists session) or a Somaspirals floor to standing sequencc. The CORE/CARS Session integrates core-focused strength training with Controlled Articular Rotations (C.A.R.S.) and breakdown of movements from the Turkish Get-Up, TGU. This class trains your body to move with control, stability, and purpose. The result is improved joint health, improved sports performance, fall prevention, and a longer, healthier life. Using Functional Range Conditioning techniques to transform passive flexibility into active, controlled mobility. Developing strength and stability at the edges of your range of motion, where injuries and falls are most likely to occur. Training the nervous system to trust your joints and muscles in broader ranges, increasing control and resilience over time. What You’ll Do: Core Strength: Strengthen and stabilize your core to support posture, balance, and functional movement. C.A.R.S. Movements: Slow, controlled joint rotations performed under tension to expand usable range of motion, improve joint health, and enhance kinaesthetic awareness. Dynamic Movements: Integrate strength, stability, and mobility with functional exercises like the Turkish Get-Up, which is proven to support fall prevention and coordination. Principles of F.A.M.S.S.: Experience flexibility, agility, mobility, strength, and stability in a way that improves both health span and performance.
